Women Outnumbering Men

Many universities are noticing that women are outnumbering nad outperforming men in the higher education venue. There is a lot of controversy over why men are falling behind in this area. Whatever it is, it can only be good for women who will continue to get the higher degrees and land better-paying jobs because of it. In turn, they should go back to those universities and help the next generation of women to graduate. Money that goes to universities could thus be seen as helping the gender pay gap.

Recently the corporation of Brown University received monetary gifts that would permit the establishment of endowed professorial positions, much like the one Sloan Lindemann and George Lindemann Jr. Distinguished Professor in Environmental Studies Osvaldo Sala has been appointed to. Money is something George Lindemann appears to be very familiar with as one of George Lindemann Jr. Florida Homes is worth 2.23 million. It would be nice to see some of that money trickling into higher education and enhancing the career opportunities of women.
